April 26-28, 2000
The Kansas City Electroacoustic Music Festival will be hosting a performance of the KromoZone Intermedia Performance System in Kansas City, Kansas. There may be an opportunity as well for lectures at the University of Missouri in Kansas City, Missouri.

Saturday, March 11, 2000
KromoZone will be making its official public debut at SEAMUS Y2K in Denton, Texas. The performers will include Stephan Moore, Timothy Place, Paul Rudy, Rich Jaime, Andre Walker, and Seongah Shin. Preparations are underway. The venue will be a lecture-performance, where members will perform two pieces with a segment in between to discuss the system.

SEAMUS Y2K will also be the official launch of the KromoZoneJam plugin for audio sequencers that utilize VST (Cubase, Logic, Vision, etc.) and MAS (Digital Performer) format plugins. This will allow anybody with the plugin to jam over the internet directly from within their sequencing software.

2/10/2000
KromoZone Network Software Distribution v1.0 was released and is now available for download. The software package contains a Server Application (PPC), Client plugins and applications (PPC and 68K), and a 31 page user manual in Adobe's PDF format.

Internet Experimentation for real-time performance data input. KromoZone members will be using custom developed software to share data over the internet across a 1200 mile span from Baltimore, Maryland to Kansas City, Missouri. The data shared over the internet will include performance on MIDI equipment at the remote location. Ensuing will be a discussion of how include an internet audience in future performances.
